The W&A family welcomes a new arrival

At W&A we love an excuse to have a celebration and what better reason to do so than in welcoming the latest addition to our ragtag recruitment family, Graeme Bruce.

The recruitment stork dropped off our latest arrival in late October and we are pleased to say he is settling in well and is already making a positive impact, bringing a wealth of knowledge, network and energy.

Thankfully not too many sleepless nights caused as yet, and he assures us he is already house trained which was an unexpected bonus.

Graeme’s onboarding could not have come at a better time for us all though. A welcome opportunity to reflect on what has been a busy year at W&A and with some much-needed consideration of what opportunities lie ahead.

2022 has been a really exciting year at W&A with continued challenges in candidate supply, various economic/political events, shifting candidate and client expectations and the re-calibration of work and working patterns post-covid.

No two days have been the same and rarely have two recruitment assignments either.

The demand for high-calibre people remains high, and to date, we are lucky enough to have enjoyed great success in continuing to work with valued clients to help them source high-calibre diverse talent.

With placements from newly qualified to CFO level, our specialism means we continue to work tirelessly to ensure we have access to the best and most diverse talent available and I genuinely cannot recall more variety in the type of opportunity, placement and industry sectors we have been working with over the last 12 months.

No signs of abatement yet and in response to this increased and ongoing demand, then the timing could not have been better to have welcomed Graeme into our team.

Graeme will be focusing his expertise on supporting customers in the likes of Glasgow, Stirling, Perth, Dundee and Fife, working primarily with candidates from newly qualified level to senior management positions. His positivity, experience and knowledge are already a huge benefit to us and most importantly should prove invaluable to our customers.
