Due to their continued and sustained growth, W&A are delighted to be supporting their recruitment as M Squared is seeking a capable Company Accountant to help support this next stage.
Role Profile
As Company Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in managing and optimising the business’s financial function. You will lead on forecasting, cashflow, reporting, and compliance, helping drive informed decision-making and sustainable growth.
This is a hands-on and varied position that would suit someone who enjoys getting close to the detail while making a broader strategic impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial forecasting, budgeting, and MI dashboard development
- Cashflow management and reporting
- Oversight of compliance and internal financial controls
- Month-end and year-end reporting
- Bookkeeping and ledger maintenance using Xero
- Risk management and financial analysis
Person Profile
- A qualified accountant but applicants that are qualified by experience who can evidence they’ve succeeded in a similar role will also be considered
- Experience of working in an SME environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms (Xero preferred)
- Comfortable preparing detailed budgets and forecasts
- Analytical, detail-focused, and solutions-driven
- A collaborative communicator who thrives in dynamic environments
