Accounts Assistant - 4-6 month Fixed Term Contract - Edinburgh
W&A are delighted to bring to the market a new contract opportunity with a view to the candidate starting early October.
My client is seeking someone with a general transactional finance background, education experience would be advantageous.
The main purpose of this role is to check and process all cash transactions including direct debits and faster payments.
Duties and responsibilities :
- Post and reconcile daily bank transactions
- Daily payment runs
- Report cash balances
- Month end reconciliations
- Managing and processing expenses
- Reconcile credit card transactions
- Support the Head of Finance with any ad hoc tasks
Experience Sought :
- Previous cash and reconciliations experience
- Experience of working in education
- Understanding of accounts payable and receiveable
- Excellent IT and communication skills
