Finance Manager - Central Scotland

W&A are delighted to be working with a key client in Stirling as they look to recruit a Finance Manager for their business.

The business has steadily grown over the last 10 years and is regarded as one of the premium operators within their sector.

The role will support a number of the senior leadership team and provide valuable insight into the performance of a number of key entities.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• The role has a broad remit covering: 
• Statutory Accounting
• Management Accounting
• Financial Planning and Analysis
• Reporting on Subsidiaries
• Development and Improvement of the Financial Controls and MI.
• Line management of a finance team (circa 3) covering transactional finance.
• Liaise and build relationships with both external auditors and Tax advisers.
• Preparation of Board reports to various stakeholders.
• Benchmarking / competitor analysis.
• Coaching and oversight responsibility for the finance team and their delivery of a range of financial analysis and reporting.
• Contribute and/or manage ad-doc projects, as required.

 Background and Experience

• Fully Qualified Accountant.
• Solid Financial and Management Accounting experience.
• Good grasp of financial systems and Excel.
• The ability to present at Board level.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Process Improvement experience with the desire to continually look for positive improvements.
