FP&A Specialist - 6 Month Contract - Edinburgh

W&A is working with a fintech based in Edinburgh to help source an FP&A Specialist for a 6 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this position is responsible for developing, analysing and managing financial plans and forecasts to ensure the organisation meets its strategic objectives.

This role involves preparing budgets, monitoring financial performance, providing insights through variance analysis and supporting decision-making with accurate and timely financial data.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified accountant with post qualified experience
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting or financial planning
• Proven experience with financial modelling and scenario analysis
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments
